I have already logged in and a webcast page is asking me to login again? What do I do?

If you receive the “You must login to view this content. If you have an account you can login here, if you do not have an account you can create an account here. “ message and you are already logged in, please click the refresh button on your browser. This should reset the view state of your browser and allow you to view the materials.

The video is jagged and sputtering, or the sound is intermittent with the video. How can I fix this?

There can be multiple causes for this. The most likely cause is concurrent traffic. During peak hours (when new events are released and lunch hours) you may experience a slowdown or degradation of performance on the videos. Attempting to view the materials at a later time should fix this problem. Materials are viewable any time after they become available so there is no rush to watch them.

A second possibility could be your network’s capacity. If you are on a 56k modem, or your network has a large amount of traffic on it, you will experience a degradation in performance. Check with your network administrator to see if you have adequate resources for streaming 256 Kbps media.

A third possibility is that your system does not have adequate local resources to view the materials. You may lack sufficient RAM or Video Card capabilities to view the materials without degradation. Please contact your system administrator or reference your computer’s system specifications to see if you meet the minimum requirements for viewing streaming 256 Kbps media.

Recommended system requirements:
  • Intel Pentium III or AMD K6-2 processor @ 450Mhz or better
  • 256MB of RAM
  • 16-bit sound card and speakers
  • 32-bit color video display card Windows ME (final release version only), Windows 2000 or Windows XP
  • IE 6.0 or Mozilla Firefox 2.0 or later (There may be some issues with IE 7.0 depending on your configuration)
  • Flash Player 6 or later
  • Bandwidth (Internet Connection): Dual-ISDN (256 Kbps dedicated) or better such as: ADSL (384 Kbps - 1.5 Mbps) Cable Modem (2+ Mbps) DirectPC Satellite (384 Kbps)
